As a third grader, I had to prepare a nonfiction book report and include ten facts. I chose a library book called Super Bowl. The information is listed below, but what is really cool is that my dad and I constructed a Vince Lombardi trophy out of cardboard and aluminum foil too.

  1. There have been 43 Super Bowl champions.
  2. The players on the winning team receive a Super Bowl ring.
  3. The Super Bowl rotates to different stadiums every year.
  4. My dad attended Super Bowl XXXII (32).
  5. The Pittsburgh Steelers have won 6 Super Bowls, the most.
  6. In 1967, the first Super Bowl was played.
  7. There has never been overtime in Super Bowl history.
  8. The Dallas Cowboys have appeared in the most Super Bowls.
  9. The Super Bowl began when the NFL and the AFL merged.
  10. The economic impact in Super Bowl host cities is worth millions.
